The app will be FREE and will be rated 17+ because of the unfiltered nature of the content - more specifically, the captions that people submit for the photos and topics may contain adult themes and references. This is standard for this type of app (based on Apple’s rules), but we hope that the “flagging” feature on the app will enable us to keep the really offensive material under control.

At the end of the month, we’ll select our favorite honorable mention and maybe have a little prize for this person. We’re not sure exactly what the prize will be just yet, but we definitely want to reward people for their creativity.

We’ve shown the beta version to a bunch of people and everyone says it’s going to be a hit - but we’ll see. It’s up to everyone else to make that happen (in addition to Apple’s approval!), but if it does blow up, we’ll definitely add more features and make the iCaption experience even better.
